"O hushed October morning mild,
Thy leaves have ripened to the fall;
Tomorrow's wind, if it be wild,
Should waste them all.
The crows above the forest call;
Tomorrow they may form and go.
O hushed October morning mild,
Begin the hours of this day slow.
Make the day seem to us less brief.
Hearts not averse to being beguiled,
Beguile us in the way you know.
Release one leaf at break of day;
At noon release another leaf;
One from our trees, one far away."
~Robert Frost, October

The beautiful colors of October always make me feel warm and fuzzy.  Cups of hot tea, lazy afternoons spent underneath the changing trees and cherished weekends spent with loved ones.  I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful and special change of season.

Some of my favorite fall colored vintage jewelry pieces...

Look at this locket!  I had absolutely no idea that it contained pressed powder.
I love it when I find such treasures.

Enjoying October!

Love, love love your fall colored jewels!! I want to read your poem but the orange text hurts my eyes. Maybe a different color would help. Gald you are back in the blogging world, missed you.
